Moving a Pool Table
Moving pool tables is not a simple endeavor. At Front Range, we have a systematic approach to ensure that your pool table reaches its destination in perfect shape.
First, we need to know the brand of your table. This will not only help us determine the timeline for the job but also how to go about it. On average, it takes us about 1 to 1.5 hours to properly take apart the table and then another 2 to 2.5 hours to set it back up again.
With this pool table service, we do a full-service job. We don’t just take apart your pool table and move it from one location to another. We fully ensure that your pool table is set up to be in perfect shape where it arrives.
For locations in the tri-city areas of Fort Collins, Greeley, Loveland and North to Wellington, we don’t charge extra. However, outside those areas, we do charge for mileage and hourly rate for time.
Repairs and Recovering
If your pool table has popping rails, chalky felt, wobbly legs, or shifting pockets, it’s probably time for repairs or recovering. Even the best cared for tables will eventually need new cloth, cushions, spots, and cleaning. At Front Range, our experts have all the experience, knowledge, and tools to ensure that your pool table is back to perfect shape.
If left unchecked, your pool table damages or issues can affect the entire gameplay experience. Our professional pool table technicians will diagnose the issue and recommend the necessary course of action to be taken.
We can also repair your cue. Our services include rewrapping butts, replacing tips, and refinishing shafts. If there are more serious problems such as replacing a shaft or cracked joint material, we can send them off to the manufacturer.
As for your pool table cloth, it generally lasts 10 years. However, the life of the cloth can vary with the amount of play and how often it’s cleaned of the chalk used in play. It’s also common to recover pool tables when they’re moved. The process is similar to a new installation since the table is also broken down and everything is reinstalled.
For pool table recovery, we have 28 colors to choose from in our most dependable cloth, the Championship Invitational Teflon. You can stop by our store to look at samples and take some home to match it with your pool table. Other materials and brands are available through special order.

First, they will take apart your pool table. Then, they will carefully label each part and carefully wrap it to ensure it doesn’t get damaged in the moving process. In the new location, the parts are then put together again with the seams reset and sealed, cloth restretched, and the rails properly aligned. All tables purchased from us comes with set up included. We also offer the same for our moving services.
