Delivery Areas and What It Costs

We ship pool tables and shuffleboards nationwide and set them up in your room. Delivery, installation and leveling are included in the price on the product page. No separate freight line, no installation invoice afterward.

Two things can add to that price. Both are published here rather than quoted at your door.

Included, no extra cost: 30 states

If you are within about an hour of the installing crew, the price on the product page is the price you pay.

Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Washington D.C., Wisconsin.

One to two hours out: add $500

Alabama, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Oklahoma.

Two to three hours out: add $750

Arkansas, Idaho, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, West Virginia.

Here is why that number is what it is, because we would rather show you the arithmetic than have you assume we picked it out of the air. Three hours out means six hours of driving plus about three hours to set and level the table. That is a nine hour day for a two person crew, and it is the only job they will do that day. The $750 is what a day costs, not a markup for living somewhere inconvenient.

Further out, or thin coverage: quoted, starting at $1,200

Maine, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont and Wyoming, plus any address more than about three hours from the nearest certified crew.

We will not guess at these. Send us your address and we will come back with a real number before you commit to anything. If it lands higher than you want to pay, we will tell you plainly and you can walk away.

Specific areas inside otherwise included states

Geography does not follow state lines. These places sit inside included states but are far enough from a crew that they price a band higher:

  • The Florida Keys
  • Michigan's Upper Peninsula
  • The eastern Sierra in California
  • West Texas
  • Mountain Colorado above the Front Range
  • The Adirondacks in New York
  • Rural Nevada away from Las Vegas and Reno

Cheyenne and Laramie are the reverse case. They sit in Wyoming, which we otherwise quote individually, but our own crew covers them, so they are included.

Stairs

The first flight is included. Each additional flight is $250.

We publish this because most of the industry does not, and a stairs charge discovered on delivery day is the most common complaint in this category. A slate pool table runs 700 to 1,000 pounds and arrives in pieces, so stairs are real work. If you are not sure how your staircase will be counted, ask us before you order and we will tell you.

Where we do not deliver

Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and the other territories. The freight and installer economics do not work, and we would rather say so than quote you something we cannot honor.

How long it takes

Five to eight weeks from order to a table set up in your room, for anything not already in stock.

That number is longer than what a lot of sites advertise, and it is the honest one. Here is where the time actually goes:

  • Week one. Your order is placed and a certified installing crew is assigned to it.
  • Weeks one to three. The table is built or pulled, then shipped to that crew's local facility.
  • Weeks three to eight. The crew contacts you and you book the appointment. This is the long stage, and it is the one most sellers leave out of their estimate.

A custom finish or a made-to-order table runs longer than this, and we will say so before you pay anything. We confirm your window in writing before any deposit. We would rather quote eight weeks and hit it than promise three and miss, because the fastest way to ruin a $6,000 purchase is to be wrong about when it arrives.

If you answer our scheduling call quickly, the back half of that window shrinks. Most of the delay in this industry is two parties failing to reach each other.
