Pool Table Moving, Recovering and Service in the Denver Metro and Boulder County

Front Range Pool Table Company moves, recovers and services pool tables across the Denver metro and Boulder County. Our shop and showroom are at 1600 E. Mulberry St in Fort Collins, and metro work runs through a Denver-based crew, so a job in Littleton or Aurora is not waiting on a truck to come down from Northern Colorado.

What we do in the metro

Moves. Tear down, transport, setup. A three-piece slate table runs 700 to 1,000 pounds, and the slate is the part that decides whether the table plays right afterward. Three separate pieces, bolted and shimmed dead flat, then re-shimmed and releveled at the destination. That is the work. Everything else is lifting. More on pool table moving.

Recovers. New cloth, cushion and rail work, pocket replacement. Simonis and Championship Invitational cloth, worsted or napped depending on how hard the table gets played. More on felt replacement.

Teardown and slate crating. Moving out of state, or handing the table to a long-distance mover. We disassemble and build custom crates for the slate, because slate that ships loose arrives cracked.

We buy used tables. Moving, downsizing, settling an estate, or you just want the basement back. Send the make, the size and a rough age and we will tell you what it is worth.

New tables. Brunswick and Legacy Billiards, sold and installed by our own crew. We service every brand. If you want a specific table from a manufacturer we don't currently carry, mention it when you reach out.

We cover Denver, Adams, Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, Broomfield and Boulder counties, plus Larimer and Weld to the north.

Work we've done in the metro

An 8-foot Brunswick Genwood installed in Denver. Imperial white-glove installations in Englewood. A move and recover handled in one visit in Arvada. Tables pulled out of storage in Littleton, bought outright in Thornton and Brighton, and moved both directions between the metro and Northern Colorado. In Boulder County we work continuously, from Longmont and Louisville down through Broomfield and Lafayette.

We book service work roughly two to four weeks out. Call for a firm date.

Questions we get every week

Can I move it myself? People ask this constantly, usually about a pickup truck. You can move the cabinet. What you cannot easily do is get three pieces of slate off the frame without cracking one, and reset them flat afterward. A table that comes back together out of level does not play right until someone relevels it, which costs more than doing it properly the first time.

Does a teardown include the setup? No. Teardown and setup are separate jobs and separate line items, because they are frequently separate days, sometimes months apart when a basement is being remodeled.

What goes into a recover? New cloth, chosen for how the table gets used, and a look at the cushion rubber while the rails are off. If the bounce has gone dead, that is the moment to fix it. We look at the table and tell you what it actually needs.

Do you buy tables you did not sell? Yes. Most of the used tables we buy came from somewhere else.

Do you come to my city? Yes. We work the whole Denver metro and Boulder County. Call and we will set it up.
