Signs your table needs a service visit

What we fix
Leveling and slate seams
We level slate by slate, then true and wax the seams so the roll is dead straight across the whole bed.
Cushion rails
Cushion rubber hardens with age. When the bounce is gone, new cushion rails bring it back without buying a new table.
Pockets and leather
Torn nets, dry leather, broken shields. We repair or replace pockets to match the table.
Rails and hardware
Loose rail bolts, stripped inserts, missing hardware, and rail cloth that has pulled away.
Frame and leg work
Cross beams, leg bolts, and anything that lets the table shift under normal play.

Level, hardware, cushions, cloth, and a play test on tables of any age or brand.
How a service visit works
- We read the table firstSlow rolls in both directions, a precision level on every slate section, and a check of every rail bolt. That tells us whether it is level, seams, hardware, or all three.
- We set the levelShims and leg adjustment until the bed is true. On a three piece slate we set each section to the others, not just to the floor.
- We fix the hardwareCushions, pockets, rail bolts, and anything loose gets addressed while the table is open.
- We play test it before we leaveYou should not find out something is off two weeks later. We roll it, bank it, and check the pockets before we pack up.
A table that is out of level does not announce itself. It just quietly makes everyone a worse player.

Why do balls drift on my pool table?
Usually the table is out of level, or the slate seams have shifted. Both are fixable. We re-level the table and true the seams so the roll is dead straight.

How often should a pool table be leveled?
Check it after any move, after new flooring, and after a big seasonal humidity swing. Roll a ball slowly the length of the table in both directions. If it curves, it is worth a service visit.
My table was assembled by someone else. Can you still work on it?
Yes, and it is common. A table that was put together without the slate being properly shimmed and waxed will never hold level, no matter how many times you adjust the legs. We take it back apart far enough to fix the root cause.
