Delivery & Installation

A pool table is a precision instrument that happens to weigh as much as a car. Getting it into the room is the easy part. Setting it so it plays true, and stays true, is the part that separates a table you love from a table you argue about. Our crew delivers, assembles, and levels every table we sell, anywhere in Colorado and Southern Wyoming.

What installation includes

Delivery into the room

We bring the table in piece by piece, not as one crated unit, so tight stairs and doorways are manageable.

Full assembly

Frame, legs, slate, cushions, rails, and pockets, assembled in place in the room the table will live in.

Slate seam work

Slate sections are shimmed to each other and the seams are filled and waxed flat. This is what keeps the roll straight.

Cloth installed on site

Bed and rail cloth are stretched and fitted after the table is together, in the color you picked.

Precision leveling

Every slate section is set true, then the whole bed is checked and re-checked before the cloth goes on.

Play test and cleanup

We roll it, bank it, check the pockets, haul off the packaging, and show you how to care for it.

How it goes, start to finish

  1. We confirm the roomTable size, room dimensions, the path in, stairs, and turns. If there is a tight spot, we would rather know before delivery day than on it.
  2. We schedule the installYou get a date and an arrival window, and we confirm before we head out.
  3. We build the table in placeFrame and legs first, then slate, seams, cloth, rails, and pockets. Plan on most of a morning or afternoon.
  4. We level it and play itThe table gets leveled, tested, and adjusted before we call it done.
  5. We set you up to playAccessories out of the box, cues racked, and the cover on.

How soon can we get it in

If the table is in stock

It is only a matter of getting you on the schedule, which is typically two to three weeks.

If it is a special order

Two to eight weeks depending on the table, the finish, and the manufacturer. Stain and cloth choices can move that window, and we will tell you where a specific table sits before you commit.

What comes with a new table

Every new table we sell is installed by our own crew, with cloth included and the accessory kit in the box. The kit has everything needed to start playing the day it is installed:

  • Cues
  • Full set of balls
  • Rack
  • Table brush
  • Chalk
  • Bridge cue

The install is not a delivery with an assembly step at the end. The install is the product.

Getting the room ready

  • Clear the path from the door to the room
  • Have the final table position picked out
  • New flooring should go in before the table, not after
  • Light fixtures can be hung after we set the table
  • Pets and small helpers somewhere else for a few hours

Common questions

Is delivery and installation included with a new table?

Yes. Delivery, full assembly, slate seam work, cloth, and precision leveling are all part of buying a table from us. It is not an add-on line item.

Is the cloth included?

Yes, and you choose the color. Bed and rail cloth are installed on site as part of the setup.

How long does an installation take?

Plan on most of a morning or afternoon for a standard slate table. Antique tables, one piece slate, and difficult access can add time.

Can you get a table upstairs or into a basement?

Usually yes. Slate tables come apart, so we carry them in section by section. Tell us about the stairs and the turns when you request a quote and we will plan for it.

Do I need to be home?

Someone should be there to confirm final placement and to walk the table with us at the end. After that the table does not move easily, so it is worth being sure.

Can you install a table I bought somewhere else?

Yes. Setup only is one of the options on our quote form. We will ask whether the table is already in the room it is going in, since that changes what the visit looks like.

Do you deliver outside Northern Colorado?

Yes. We deliver and install across Colorado including Denver Metro, Boulder County, Colorado Springs, and the mountain towns, plus Southern Wyoming.
