One price, set up in your room

$5,800 delivered and installed for the 8 ft. That covers the table, napped cloth in your choice of color, Brunswick's own play package, freight, and professional installation and leveling by a Brunswick authorized crew.

The cloth and the play package ship in the same shipment as the table, straight to the crew who will install it. Nothing arrives separately and nothing waits on a second delivery.

What is in the play package

Brunswick's Heritage Play Package, which they sell separately for $685: Heritage Pocket balls, Four Heritage high-quality 2-piece cues, two-piece short cue, two-piece bridge stick, brass bridge head, Big Break rack, table brush and Plastic 9-Ball rack.

What Brunswick charges for the same table

Brunswick lists the 8 ft at $4,900. That is the table on its own. Their cloth is $230, their play package is $685, and their professional delivery and installation is $899, their own published figure, which applies only if you live within 50 miles of a participating dealer.

Add it up and the same 8 ft table, delivered and installed, is $6,714.

Ours is $5,800, with the cloth, the play package, the freight and the installation already in it. That is $914 less for the same table in the same room, and you deal with one company instead of coordinating three charges.

Cloth colors

Choose any of Brunswick's 14 traditional woolen colors at no extra cost: Sahara, Regatta Blue, Midnight Blue, Gun Metal, Olive, Timberline, Cardinal, Charcoal Grey, Brunswick Green, Merlot, Ebony, Oceanside, McIntosh, Chocolate. Their Centennial stain-resistant cloth is available as an upgrade.

Delivery

Delivery and installation are included across 30 states. Areas one to two hours from the installing crew add $500, two to three hours add $750, and anything further we quote from your address. How long it takes

Five to eight weeks from order to a table set up in your room, for anything we are not holding in stock. That is the real number, and it is the same one the manufacturer publishes, because their certified crew is who installs it.

Where the time goes: the order is placed and an installing crew assigned, the table ships to their facility, then they contact you to book the appointment. That last step is the long one and it is where most of the industry quietly loses a month.

A custom finish or a made-to-order table runs longer, and we will tell you that before you pay anything. We confirm your window in writing before any deposit, and we would rather quote you eight weeks and hit it than promise three and miss.

Will it fit?

• 7 ft wants about 13' x 16' for full-length 58" cues, or 12' x 15' with a 52" cue.
• 8 ft wants about 13'6" x 17' for full-length 58" cues, or 12'6" x 16' with a 52" cue.
• 9 ft wants about 14' x 18' for full-length 58" cues, or 13' x 17' with a 52" cue.
